F4 has been receiving so much love from its original Chinese storyline to its Korean adaptation which is 'Boys Over Flowers.' 13 years ago, the popular drama aired in South Korea and has been broadcasted in various countries continuously.

What's with Boys Over Flowers that got us hooked?

Given the popularity of the original Taiwanese drama, we've known F4 since then and have been heads over heels with the characters. Thus, when the Korean version took over our televisions with an all-star cast, it became a huge hit in various countries! 

Aside from the casting and the lavish shooting locations, we all had our fair share of heartbreaks that we literally fall for the second lead without a doubt. Of course, we all loved our four flower boys and Geum Jan Di.

My First Kdrama was Boys Over Flowers. Every girl's dream is to be like Gu Hye Sun's role (Geum Jan Di) and meet Gu Jun Pyo in real life who will love her at all costs 😍. 

Eventually, this drama brought me to Kpop as well. Who would have thought that Kim Hyun Joong is part of a Kpop Boy Group called SS501 that time and I ended up liking them? Until now, I still like Kpop, thanks to this drama, I found myself. πŸ’– - Dianne D.E.


You can't easily move on from second lead syndrome

My most memorable and favorite kdrama is Boys Over Flowers and since then I became an avid Kdrama Fan. Also, I became fan of Kim Hyun Joong (Ji Hoo Sunbae) to the point that I made an unofficial fan page. I just want to update his fans like me. What changed on you after you watched the drama?

The love for Korean drama didn't just end with Boys Over Flowers. In fact, it was just the beginning. The drama introduced us to more oppas that you probably watched more than a hundred dramas now ever since you watched BOF. We just keep falling in love with new oppas and the funny part? Our standards for men really got way higher than before.

My first Kdrama was Boys over flower when I was in high school. That's the time I started to love Korean kdramas. Then, I just happen to saw Ji chang wook's Healer.. I was mesmerized by his beauty, after watching it. 

I searched all Wookie's kdramas and movies. I downloaded some of it and realized my day is not complete without kdramas. I also spent thousands of load for downloading all the kdramas i have and I am running out of storage also😊 - Angie B.
